MLC Life Insurance joins our Circle

Today, Circle In welcomes MLC Life Insurance as our latest partner committed to supporting its working parents.

Employees at MLC Life Insurance will now have access to tailored content and resources through Circle In’s industry-leading portal, which is already helping improve the lives of thousands of working parents navigating each stage of the parental leave and return to work journey.

Circle In Co-founder and Director, Kate Pollard, said the new partnership builds on MLC Life Insurance strong focus on workplace diversity and inclusion.

“MLC Life Insurance is committed to building an engaging and supportive culture for its people,” Ms Pollard said.

In 2018, MLC Life Insurance was recognised as a Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s (WGEA) Employer of Choice citation for gender equality and its CEO, David Hackett, is a WGEA Pay Equity Ambassador.

“It’s clear that as an employer, MLC Life Insurance is truly committed to engaging and inspiring their working parents and treating parental leave with the respect it deserves, going well beyond the tick-the-box policy.

“Circle In is looking forward to playing our role to help improve the lives of working parents at MLC Life Insurance,” she said.

MLC Life Insurance Chief People Officer, Susan Karson, said: “Diversity and inclusion is core to what we believe in and who we are. Our aspiration is that every person at MLC Life Insurance feels valued and respected for who they are. We are proud of our diversity and inclusion and at the same time know there’s always more we can do to support our people to thrive.”

“Our Parental Support Employee Action Group identified there was more we could do to support our working parents when they were on parent leave, transitioning back or managing the work/parent juggle. This led us to Circle In and its unique digital platform.

“Partnering with Circle In is a no brainer. It means we can amp up our support of our working parents to the next level,” she said.

Circle In’s core product offering is a customised engagement platform for employers to provide their community of working parents with tools and resources aligned to each stage of parenthood.

Other benefits of the portal include helping individual managers support their team who are working parents, the use of storytelling to demonstrate real-life solutions and showcase role models within the organisation plus the ability for organisations to capture data and analytics to justify their investment.

Circle In is the first to market globally and to date, have partnered with progressive organisations including Coca-Cola Amatil, Estee Lauder, Cotton On Group, L’oreal and Visy.
